RICH HISTORY

The Heritage DC was originally designed in 1923 by W.S. Plager and was called the Woodridge Langdon Bank Building. The original Woodridge-Langdon Savings and Commercial Bank was reorganized shortly after the height of the Great Depression.

Hamilton National Bank was chartered in 1933 and took over a number of bank branches across the District including 2027 Rhode Island Ave NE. The Heritage DC is now being renovated and revamped into a 43-unit luxury condo building.
